Game Director
Vision & Leadership: Defined the creative and gameplay vision for a top-down zombie survival shooter, leading the project from concept to public demo with 5,000–7,000+ players and wishlists on Steam.
Systems Design: Directed the design and integration of core features, including the Predator’s Path progression system, dynamic environment events, shelter systems (power, water, farming, defenses), crafting tiers, NPC survivor roles, and alert/horde mechanics.
Narrative & Worldbuilding: Established the tone and setting (Pacific Northwest), structured progression across four biomes, and connected environmental storytelling with gameplay loops.
Team Direction: Coordinated a cross-disciplinary team of up to 15 developers (design, art, engineering, QA), providing documentation, feature validation, and production priorities.
Player Experience: Balanced short-term survival loops (scavenging, crafting, base defense) with long-term progression (shelter evolution, NPC specialization, vehicle systems), ensuring replayability and co-op engagement.
Publisher & Stakeholder Relations: Created design documentation and pitches for external partners, aligning features and progression systems with publisher expectations.
Innovation & Differentiation: Focused on reinventing the survival genre by emphasizing adaptability, system interconnection, and the fantasy of reclaiming humanity’s place as apex predator.
